I am finally updating.  Can you believe it?  Our summer has been pretty crazy so far.  It began with children's camp which lasted from June 7-10.  Then we rushed from Falls Creek to OBU just in time for Super Summer training on Saturday and Sunday, then SS began.  After it ended we rushed to Lewisville, Texas for a wedding rehearsal for Jesse and Emily Motley.  We stayed in Texas Friday and then decided to stay an extra night so that we could relax.  It was a lot of fun.  We got to stay in the Hilton and go to a Rangers game, and guess what they WON!  Once we made it back from the wedding we began preparations for VBS.  I taught the 5 years olds and Brian taught the 6th graders...lucky him!  To add to our fun of VBS our 4 year old nephew was visiting us for the week from Wichita.  He was a lot of fun but we have decided to put having children off for a while  After the week of VBS we had a break...kind of.  We have spent the last week getting ready for Falls Creek Youth Camp and we leave Tomorrow.  Please pray for us. 

Even though we have been crazy busy we did make time to go and see Pirates of the Caribbean and I'm not gonna lie, I really liked it. 

How has everyone else been doing.  I hope that your summer has been a littler more peaceful then ours. 

I have changed the colors on my xanga (finally) in honor of my sister who graduated from Moore High School today.  I can't believe it!  I am so proud of her and so scared for her at the very same time.  My baby sister is going to be going out into the real world.  When I think about all that we have been through together and look back over the last few years I am truly amazed at who my sister has become.  She is so strong.  I am blessed to be her older sister.  (She doesn't even have a xanga to read this) 

The trip from good ol Cherokee to OKC seems to be getting shorter.  Maybe because we have finally realized that there are not may cops on those rode's so we can go what ever speed we want...not that we do though because speeding is BAD!    

I am finally updating.  Can you believe it? 

School is almost out!  I am so excited.  I have finals next week then I am FINISHED...until next semester.  Remembering that I still have two years of school left makes summer vacation not as exciting to look forward to. 

We are going to make a trip to OKC this weekend to celebrate family birthdays.  I am really excited I enjoy spending time with the family, especially since we hardly ever get to see them now. 

I almost hit a squirrel on my way to school today.  The little guy just decided to run out it front of me.  I slowed down and I think that he got away because when I looked back in my rearview mirror he was no where to be found.  I'm going to be honest a little part of me thinks that he hitched a ride on the undercarriage of my car.  Another little part of me believed that he was only waiting there for me to stop so that he could attack me for almost running over him.  All that to say, I got to school and nothing happened.  Maybe he is sitting around with all of his squirrel friends talking about how he almost got hit by a car, or he could have hitched a ride in to town to meet with his family for the weekend. or perhaps he is outside waiting for me to get out of class.  We will just have to wait and see. 

It is raining today.  I only like rain when I get to sleep or it's warm outside so that I can play in the rain.  I do not like rain when I have to drive in it.  That is NO fun. 

I can't really think of anything else to write about so I will leave you with this... If you place a bucket of water on your head will your hair get wet?

I survived Lazer Quest.  I was not sure that I was going to be able to pull though after the ALL night frenzy.  I was tired after one game.  I'm not sure how all of the others were able to keep on playing the entire SIX hours.  All that to say I had a lot of fun hanging out with the youth this weekend.
